PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has decided to start collecting applications from the aspiring candidates for the by-elections to be held on National Assembly seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on March 16.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the party`s representatives from different districts held at the PML-N`s provincial secretariat here on Sunday.

PML-N provincial president Eng Amir Muqam chaired the meeting, according to a statement.

Mr Muqam, who is also adviser to the prime minister, asked the aspiring candidates to submit their applications at the earliest.

The meeting also discussed the party`s reorganisation in the province.

Mr Muqam impressed upon the district leaderships to ensure speedy reorganisation of the party units up to the union council and village council levels.

The meeting also discussed PML-N`s senior vice-president and chief organiser, Maryam Nawaz`s upcoming visit to Abbottabad and Peshawar.

The participants also expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris, and also condemned the police lines bombing.
