PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf activists on Wednesday took out a motorcycle rally to motivate its workers for the public gathering scheduled for February 8 in Swabi.
The rally was also against the conviction of the PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse, Bushra Bibi.
Led by minister for higher education Meena Khan Afridi, the rally was taken out from Pir Zakori Bridge on the GT Road and concluded outside the historic Qilla Balahisar after passing through different roads.
The PTI workers were holding party flags and placards inscribed with different slogans against the conviction of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Addressing the participants, Meena Khan Afridi said that Imran Khan and his wife had been convicted in the Al-Qadir Trust `without committing` any crime. He said that their protest against the conviction of their leader would continue in different parts of the country. Bureau Report
