LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency, along with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), has raided two illegal gateway exchanges at Mandi Bahauddin and arrested their owner.

According to an official, a raid was conducted by a joint team of FIA and PTA as part of their ongoing crackdown on grey traffickers. The team seized an illegal exchange comprising two gateways of 16 ports each and another of eight ports, along with other equipment like switches, SIMs, laptop and modem. The owner of the exchanges has been arrested, he said.

The official said the PTA had been continuously monitoring the activities of the grey traffickers. Staff Reporter
