QUETTA: The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has permanently barred 22 officials from participating in any board-related activities as they were found guilty of violating examination rules.

The officials were accused of deliberately selecting examination centres where their close relatives were appearing for the ongoing matriculation exams.

According to a notification issued by BBISE Chairman Ejaz Azeem Baloch, the board`s regulations strictly prohibit staff members from performing supervisory duties at centres where their sons or blood relatives are taking exams.

However, the 22 officials allegedly flouted these rules, leading to their immediate and permanent removal from all board activities.-Saleem Shahid
