BADIN: Two suspects were arrested after a 24-year-old man, Mumtaz Ali Shah, was found killed near his house in Bakadar Shah village late on Saturday evening.

The body was handed over to his father, Syed Chhutan Shah, after a post-mortem examination at the Talhar Taluka Hospital. Mr Shah told the police that he knew his son`s killers but would disclose their names in court.

Talhar SHO Riaz Ahmed Bijarani told the media that the incident seemed to be an honour killing case as initial investigation suggested that the victim had contracted a court marriage with a woman belonging to the Mallah community about three months ago. He said the FIR would be registered when his father would approach the police and record his statement.
