ISLAMABAD: The National Police Bureau (NPB) hosted a workshop for its public relations officers (PRO) to better handle media and related issues.

The day-long workshop was organised to teach PROs the latest trends, issues and dynamics of the media world.

According to a press release issued on Sunday, the PROs of 15 police organisations had the opportunity to listen to leading anchors and mediapersons.

The officers were taken to media offices as well, where they met with media officials who briefed them on how reporting works.

PROs deal with issues of press releases, represent their organisations as spokespersons, and deliver media talks.
