SIALKOT: Sports wears, chemicals and raw materials worth Rs21 million were gutted in a midnight inferno in two adjacent factories in Shatabgarha late on Sunday.

The fire erupted in thefactories of Mushtaq Ahmed and his wife, Sumera Mushtaq at about 10pm which the firefighters of Rescue 1122 could control by 7am on Monday engaging seven fire vehicles in the operation.

The owners said the estimated loss was Rs21 million.
