DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Three people were killed and three others sustained injuries when they fell from a speeding tractor-trolley in Danasar area of Darazinda tribal subdivision here, a rescue official said on Friday.

Rescue 1122 spokesman Aizaz Mehmood said a tractor-trolley loaded with wood went out of the driver`s control due to high speed in Danasar area of Darazinda.

As a result, six people onboard fell down, resulting in the death of three. The other three persons suffered injuries.

Rescue teams shifted the bodies and the injured to Type-D Hospital, Darazinda. Later, the injured were referred to the Dera Ismail Khan Trauma Centre.

The deceased were identified as Jumma Rahim, Mubeen and Saifur Rehman. The injured included Shamsullah, Bateel and Mohammad Hassan.

Meanwhile, a young man was killed and another was injured in a firing incident on the banks of the Indus River in the limits of Cantonment police station, an official said on Friday.

The police registered a case on the complaint of Rahimzada Marwat, a brother of the deceased, Hamzadullah Marwat, 22, against the accused, Ehsanullah aka Tutu and his accomplices.
