ISLAMABAD: The police have recovered a fair quantity of liquor and narcotics from a man, besides arresting 18 others for different crimes, police said on Monday.

A police team, constituted in response to a tipoff, started checking vehicles randomly at the Islamabad Chowk near G-13, during which they recovered 120 bottles of liguor from a car and arrested its driver.

Meanwhile, the Shahzad Town police apprehended a drugpeddler andrecovered 115 gram hashish, while the Sihala police nabbed a man for illegal decanting of LPG.

The Loi Bher police arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in theft and recovered valuables worth thousands of rupees.
