KASUR: Police seized on Wednesday crystal heroin worth millions and arrested two drug pushers in a search operation.
Police said they had arrested 14 other suspects and recovered illegal weapons from them as well.
The search operation was conducted at Rasoolpur village in the jurisdiction of B-Division police where a CIA team raided a house and arrested Ashraf and Abdul Razzaq. The team also seized two kilo pure crystal heroin and illegalweapons from them.
Also, police and lawenforcement agencies raided several places in the district and arrested 14 people under the National Action Plan.
Agencies seized illegal weapons, narcotics and liquor from them.
Agencieshaveenhanced search operations in the district because of Muharram, particularly in sensitive ares. The district administration has declared 10 points highly vulnerable in the district.
