SIALKOT: Another Indian shelling victim, 22-year-old Nafeesa Javaid, was laid to rest in village Beeni Sulehriyaan of Charwah sector along the Sialkot Working Boundary on Thursday.

Nafeesa succumbed to her injuries at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sialkot on Wednesday night. She had received head injuries when the monar shells fired by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) hit her house on Sept 21. She was admitted to the CMH in a critical condition.

The death toll from the shelling on Sept 21 has reached eight while 26 people were injured.
