National conference at Numi

two-day national conference on education and sustainable development, hosted by the National University of Modern Languages (Numl) concluded on Wednesday.

Higher Education Commission Executive Director Dr Arshad Ali was the chief guest on the occasion and was accompanied by Numl Director General Big Mohammad Ibrahim.

The event was also attended by deans, directors, heads of departments, faculty members and students.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr Arshad said implementation is the real problem when it comes to the promotion of education and that only the identification of problems is not enough.

He stressed on the importance of information technology in education and said much can be achieved if IT is used effectively for the promotion of education. He urged faculty members to give their best in class rooms with a proper mission and objectives to achieve the desired results.

Brig Ibrahim ensured the chief guest that Numl will leave no stone unturned to achieve its goals.

Thirteen research papers were presented by various scholars during the two-day conference. The vice chancellor of the Quaid+Azam University, Dr Javed Ashraf was the chief guest at the inaugural session.
