SHEIKHUPURA: Three people suffered burn injuries in an LPG cylinder blast here on Thursday at Machike.
Shopkeeper Murtaza was decanting gas when a cylinder exploded. As a result Murtaza and two customers Sajid and Rafiq suffered burn injuries. The injured were shifted to hospital.
Saddar police are looking into the matter.
POWER THEFT: The Lahore Electric Supply Company has registered cases against 130 power thieves and imposed fine worth Rs2.4 million on them during a week.
Superintendent Engineer Latif told journalists on Thursday that two teams, led by the EXEN and SDO Ijaz Bhatti, raided Muslim Gunj, Khalid Road, Tariq Road, Bhiki Road and Joinawala Mor. The teams found 130 consumers stealing electricity and imposed Rs2.4m fine on them.
