ISLAMABAD: The theory co-sponsored by Prof. Salam a few years back that electro-magnetic and weak interactions could be considered as two aspects of the same process has now been confirmed by a group of European scientists at the European organisation for nuclear research (CERN) in Geneva. A report of the organisation reaching here today [Oct 5] says that Prof. Salam`s hypothesis then could not be totally accepted until the existence of neutral currents was proved. ...
