KARACHI: A shopkeeper was shot dead by a burqa-clad gunman in Kalakot on Thursday, police said.

Mohammed Asghar,45,was sitting in his shop in Raxer Lane when the gunman entered the shop, opened fire on him and fled, said Kakalot DSP Syed Anwar Ali Shah.

The shopkeeper sustained two bullet wounds and was taken to the Civil hospital where doctors declared him dead.
