DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Chief executive officer of Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) Syed Sada Hussain Shah has said the organisation is committed to providing better living conditions to the people of DI Khan.

He stated this while speaking at a meeting of the Board of Directors of WSSC held here on Sunday to review the company`s performance and identify ways to enhance its functions.

Board`s chairman Chaudhry Mohammad Sharif presided over.

The participants considered various recommendations for improving the company`s operations, and identified actionable steps that could be taken to enhance its overall effectiveness, drawing on their collective expertise and experience.

The board members discussed various strategies and approaches to improve the company`s performance.

At the end of the meeting, the board chairman awarded shield to CEO Syed Sada Shah for providing `best` services to residents on Eidul Azha, August 14, Muharram and Eid Miladun Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him).

Mr Shah gave the credit for this performance to his entire team and said they would always serve the city residents in a `befitting`manner.

Meanwhile, Dera deputy commissioner Mansoor Arshad Khattak on Saturday visited the District Headquarters Hospital and enquired after those injured in the Tank Adda blast.

He met with the injured persons,appreciated their courage and prayed for their early recovery.

Mr Khattak directed the hospital`s management to provide the best treatment facilities to the injured persons. The deputy commissioner also inspected the functioning of CCTV cameras at the hospital.
