MARDAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader retired Captain Safdar said here on Sunday said that his party supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif would get the country out of the current economic and political crises if he was voted to power in the upcoming general elections scheduled to be held on February 8.

He was talking to journalists in the hujra of PML-N leader Haji Arshad Manan after holding a meeting with workers and local leaders of the party.

He said that had Nawaz Sharif not been ousted of power through a conspiracy, Pakistan would have become financially stable and strong.

He said that `Imran project` pushed the country to the verge of bankruptcy. He said that they put their political career on risk and savedPakistan from bankruptcy when they removed Imran Khan from power through a no-confidence motion and formed government in the centre.Mr Safdar claimed that PML-N would clean sweep the next general elections on the basis of good performance.
