KARACHI: A 30-year-old man was shot dead in Joharabad on Friday afternoon, police said.

They added that Kashif Sattar was sitting at a shop in Latif Square near Water Pump in Block-14, F. B Area when armed men riding a motorcycle attacked him. He sustained critical bullet wounds fired with a 9mm pistol and was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

`It appeared to be an act of targeted killing,` said Liaquatabad SP Malik Ihsan. However, he added that the exact motive of the murder was being probed.-Staff Reporter
