WE, PTCL pensioners, are in great financial trouble as we get only 50pc of the annual increase in pensions granted by the government over the last six years. In financial year 2015, no increment was given.
Before PTCL privatisation, most of us were federal government employees. We were informed in writing that after privatisation there would be no retrenchment and all employees would get their benefits in full.
We request the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to provide justice to the retirees.
