SAHIWAL: Around 40 students exhibited their models at a scientific exhibition by the Physics Society of the Government Post-Graduate College on Monday.

Students from different public colleges showed great interest. The exhibition was opened by Masood Faridi, director of colleges, and Principal Mumtaz Ahmed. Most of the projects were on the environment, greenhouse effects, institutional security systems, solid waste management, sustainable energy sources, and anti-pollution.

A `Bluetooth-controlled data logger robot for soil testing` was on display.Other projects included an Arduino-based garbage collector robot, a driver drowsiness direction system on a motorway, a car parking spacer circuit for urban parking, a gas leak-age detector, and four-way traffic controlling signals with automatic barriers.

Participants said such kinds of scientific exhibitions inspire students. Correspondent
