KAR ACHI: In response to the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza, a Palestine Solidarity Conference was held in Karachi under the auspices of the Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF).

The event was attended by a diverse group, including political and religious leaders, civil society members, educators, lawyers, students and others.

The speakers at the conference strongly condemned the aggression by Israel in Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon and Syria.They urged leaders of the Islamic world to sever all ties with the `usurper Zionist state of Israel` as a symbolic show of support for Gaza and called for a continuedboycott ofIsraeliproducts.

They also demanded that the Pakistani government adopt a more assertive diplomatic stance globally in favour ofthe Palestinian cause.

The speakers insisted on action against so-called journalists from Pakistan who have visited Israel.

They cited Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah`s stance that Israel is an illegitimate state and that Pakistan will never recognise Israel.
