VEHARI: Two members of a family were 1(illed and one injured seriously late on Friday for offering resistance during a robbery in Chak 515-EB near Zafar Colony, Saddar.

Two suspected robbers entered the house of truck stand owner Rafique and held the family hostage at gunpoint, including R afique, and his sons Subhan and Faizan. The family attempted to resist the suspects at which they opened fire and fled from the scene.

Rafique and Faizan died on the spot, while Subhan received serious bullet injuries and was admitted to the Burewala T HQ hospital.

Burewala Saddar SHO Zakir Gujjar told Dawn that police registered a case against the suspects. He said police were investigating the incident, adding that till the filing of this report no clue had been found to the suspected robbers. Correspondent
