Dossiers on officials being updated

LAHORE: The Services andGeneralAdministration Department, Punjab, has evolved a mechanism to update the dossiers on the senior government officers on a regular basis in the shape of latest Individual Career Planning (ICP) charts having complete service record, academic qualifications and in-service trainings imparted to each officer.
It includes computerising confidential record -PEEDA probes, PERs, AntiCorruption Establishment/ NAB and Chief Minister Inspection Team inquiries etc.
Reviewing progress in establishing dashboard along with control and command system being set up at Implementation and Coordination Wing of S&GAD, the additional chief secretary in a meetingon Saturday said the new digital system would ensure that no officer facing serious inquiries could manage to get postings.
`The S&GAD will now be able to identify `shoe pinchers` to the competent authorities just through a clicl(,` he said.The meeting was told that all the details of personal data of three BS-22, 19 BS-21, 87 BS-20, 341 BS-18 and 652 BS-17 officers working under different wings and field offices of S&GAD in addition to chief executive officers and managing directors of 56 public sector companies will be available to the chief minister at a glance.
Record of all the nine divisional commissioners, 37 DCs, ADCs, secretaries, RPOs, DPOs and directors general has also been updated. Staff Reporter
