NAROWAL: Eight schoolchildren were injured on Monday when the rickshaw they were traveling in and a passenger bus collided on New Lahore Road. In all, nine people were injured.

The minor students of Nangle and Randheer villages were coming to their private school in Narowal in the motorcycle rickshaw. The injured are Maryam, Ayesha, Fatima, Adeel, Abdullah, rikshaw driver Muhammad Islam and three otherstudents.

A Rescue 1122 ambulance shifted the injured to the Narowal District Headquarters Hospital. The injured students were being treated at the emergency ward. Dr Muhammad Bilal said, `Two students sustained serious injuries.
