OKARA: The police have arrested two persons for the desecration of a body and grave in Ghaziabad.
On April 30 night, the body of a minor girl was found without a cof fin out of the grave, according to an FIR registered by Yasir, f ather of the deceased, with the City B division police.
As the incident was reported in the media, Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz sought a report from the commissioner and the regional police officer of Sahiwal division. The police said suspects Naeem and Saleem, of the locality, were arrested and both confessed to exhuming the body for black magic purposes.
The police registered a case under sections 295-A and 297 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The chief minister directed the district administration to install lights at the graveyard.
