Imran asks PML-N to name conspirators
Asked if the JIT should visit Qatar to record a statement of the Qatari prince, Mr Khan said if the prince could visit Pakistan to hunt houbara bustards and to do businesses, then why he could not come to confirm the claims made by the Sharif family.
He said that if his former wife Jemima could send complete details of 15-year-old transactions, why the Qatari prince could not send history of the banking transactions.
He alleged that the government had awarded a Rs200 billion project at Port Qasim to the Qatari prince on a single bid.
The PTI chief said that the PML-N members had celebrated the formation of the JIT `like criminality is something to be celebrated` and now they were trying to discredit and threaten the JIT. He said that `repetitive narration of conspiracy and innocence will not spare the Sharif family from accountability.
Mr Khan said that the PML-N was destroying every institution in an effort to hide corruption of the Sharif family. `You are destroying institutions while saying you are trying to save democracy. Does saving democracy look like this?`
