CHITRAL: PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the trend of blame game and accusations by politicians against each other should come to an end forthwith as it is ruining the political culture of the country.

Talking to journalists here on Sunday, he said that his party would never be a part of that obnoxious practice.

He said that the accusations levelled by MNA Ayesha Gulalai against Imran Khan should be dealt with as per prevalent law against sexual harassment of women instead of forming parliamentary committee to find out the facts so that speedy justice could be dispensed to her.

He said that young women wereleaving the party of Imran Khan as they considered their honour unsafe in the fold of the party.

`This is being taken notice of by the people of the country who are the best judges in the forthcoming elections,` he added.

Responding to a question about the warm reception of Nawaz Sharif, the PPP chairperson said that the former prime minister was using state machinery and bureaucracy for his public rallies and meetings. He said that no one would turn to her once his party was out of power in 2018.

`The decision of Shahbaz Sharif not to contest the elections for National Assembly from Lahore substantiates my view as they know that Punjab is f ast slipping f rom their hands into the lap of PPP,` he said adding that they would field a candidate for the elections after the PML-N made a decision about its candidate.

He said that Nawaz Sharif always got to the seat of power with the help of establishment and without its support, he wasthe most hapless person in the country.

To a question regarding the possibility of his contesting elections from Chitral for National Assembly, Bilawal said that Bhutto family had long and cordial relations with the people of Chitral since the inception of PPP and he had received requests from local party workers but the decision would be made by the party`s high command.

The PPP chairperson said that his party had a specific vision for the development of Chitral. He said that Chitral was the best alternate route for ChinaPakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) due to its topography and position while its proximity to the Central Asian Republics was another potential as it could be connected to Tajikistan.

He said that mega projects would be initiated in Chitral if PPP was voted to power.

He said that sense of deprivation among the people of Chitral would be removed and their liv-ing standard would be brought at par with the residents of developed areas.

Earlier, Bilawal received a number of delegations of partyworkers from different valleys of the district, including Kalash women, who discussed with him party affairs in Chitral and the development schemes.
