LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Amin Wains said on Tuesday all measures would be taken to maintain law and order on NA-122 by-election days.

According to a news release, the CCPO said political parties office bearers had been told to provide surety bonds regarding their offices in the city.

He said some 89 offices of political parties and office bearers had submitted bonds while candidates had been informed to direct their office bearers to provide bonds to police stations of their areas.

He said a strict action would be taken against those creating mess during the by-elections.
