Court asks Zahir Jaffer to mend his behaviour

ISLAMABAD: Three days after Zahir Jaffer, the primary accused in the Noor Mukadam murder case, tried to disrupt the hearing, the sessions court on Saturday issued a written order warning him to behave otherwise he may be disallowed to appear in the court.

According to the order, the accused created fuss in the court and tried to interfere in the proceedings.

He was directed to mend his attitude otherwise his attendance would be exempted from the court and he would be taken on video link from the jail.

It was further mentioned in the order that police had also submitted a report regarding the behaviour of the accused.

During the last hearing, the accused had tried to disrupt the proceedings and hurled obscenities on Additional Sessions Judge Ata Rabbani.

He had said the court was powerless and dragging the case. He also said that he had given an opportunity to the court to hang him.

Because of the incident, the judge had directed the police to take the accused out of the court.
