SUKKUR: The Jacobabad Anti-Corruption Establishment officials arrested in Larkana a clerk who was wanted in a fraud case and sent him to Jacobabad district jail after submitting his challan to the court concerned on Thursday.

Sources said that a case was filed by Farooq Buriro two months ago against two clerks, Arbab Ali Buriro and Nazeer Buriro, who were posted in Thull municipal committee.

The complainant said the clerks had cheated him out of Rs500,000 over promise of providing him a job in the committee. Anticorruption police had arrested Nazeer Buriro a month ago but his colleague Arbab Buriro disappeared.

He was arrested in Larkana on Thursday and sent to jail, said police.-Correspondent
