KARACHI: The body of a young woman with her throat slashed was found from a home in Orangi Town, Sector-5 nearSiddig-i-Akbar Masjid late on Thursday night.

Pirabad police SHO Imtiaz Mirjat said that a bad smell emanating from the house alerted neighbours who informed the police about their suspi-cion.

The police broke the lock ofthe doorandfound the body of a woman lying there with knife wounds.

It appeared that the woman had died four or five days ago.
