RAWALPINDI: A young man committed suicide after killing his father, brother`s wife and a nephew in Fazal Town on Tuesday night, police said.

According to the preliminary investigation, Zeeshan, 32, was jobless and lived with his father Saifullah, elder brother Bashir and sister-in-law Salma with two nephews six-year-old Shahzaib and three-year-old Kumail.

Superintendent of Police Tahir Attique said Zeeshan had been asking for money from his father to start a business andwould quarrel with him and his brother for not granting the request.

At about 9pm on Tuesday when Bashir, who is a taxi driver, came home he received no response to the doorbell. He tried to contact his family but neither of them answered his call. Bashir then jumped over his gate and found Shahzaib lying on the floor in a pool of blood while the rest of the family was found dead in an adjoining room.

The youngest son, Kumail, was found injured lying next to his mother. He was taken to Benazir Bhutto Hospital.

The pistol used in the act was found next to Zeeshan`s body.
