The Smurfs embark on a wild rescue mission when Papa Smurf (John Goodman) is kidnapped by evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel. Led by Smurfette (Rihanna),they team up with new friends singing, dancing and embracing their destiny to save the universe.

The live-action/3DCG hybrid film boasts a star-studded voice cast, including Rihanna, James Corden, Nick Offerman, Sandra Oh, Octavia Spencer and Kurt Russell.

Directed by Chris Miller (Puss in Boots), the film features animation by Cinesite. The Smurfs Movie hits theatres July 18.
