TAXILA: The ancient stucco sculptures of Buddha displayed at the Taxila Museum impressed Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on his visit to Taxila on Tuesday.

He visited the site of the ancient Gandhara civilisation from where Buddhism spread across the globe. President Sirisena wrote in the visitor`s book: `I had the immense pleasure of visiting the Taxila museum.
