DACCA: It is of ficially stated in Dacca that miscreants and armed infiltrators have been driven out of Sylhet, Rangpur, Rajshahi and the adjoining areas and the Army is in full control of the entire region. Khan,] Maulana Mufti Mahmood, General Secretary of the Jamiatul Ulema-i-Islam (Hazarvi Group), has urged the Government to sever diplomatic relations with India in view of infiltration by armed Indians into East Pakistan.

...Mufti Mahmood recounted various `hostile steps` taken by India and termed them as `naked aggression` against Pakistan.
