ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly this morning [April 7] proceeded without the Opposition members to pass the remaining 34 Articles of the Constitution which earlier were deferred in the hope that they will be passed with the Opposition`s participation.

The Law Minister, Mr. Abdul Hafeez Peerzada, in a brief statement ... regretted the Opposition`s absence from the House and said: `Having defeated them inside the Assembly, we will eliminate them politically outside the House also.
