GUJRANWALA: A Gujranwala Electric Power Company (Gepco) team got three people arrested on Sunday who were allegedly taking away conductors after overpowering the watchman at a project site.
Wapda installation chief executive of Gepco Chaudhry Muhammad Akram told reporters that a team of the company was on night patrol when it noticed a loader vehicle (SAL 1039) parked at the site of132ky transmission line being installed from Dalowali to Kot Agha.
The Gepco team immediately called police that found seven people loading conductors onto the vehicle, while they had tied up the watchman, Imran, with a rope.
Police arrested three of the suspects -Shahadat Ali, Farman and Jahanzeb, while their four accomplices managed to escape.
