Modi is beneficiary

2025-05-08
I AM unable to understand the hysteria that has gripped most Indians. Perhaps, it is driven by their largely sub-standard and completely biased media, desperate for ratings and competing in naming Pakistan loudly as the perpetrator of the Pahalgam attack without any proof.

Was Pakistan so naive that it would plan this massacre in such a shabby manner? The big question one should be asking these days is about the identity of the beneficiary of this attack.

Pakistan government and the army were busy in stabilising the country after a phase of political instability. Why would they open this new front? Had we wanted to avenge the Jaffar Express incident, we could have done that in several ways.

The only logical conclusion is that someone has benefited from this crime, and is now blaming Pakistan for it. For argument`s sake, the perpetrator could have been Israelbecauseit doesnot want to see Pakistan stable so that it may gofor the Iranian nuclear assets.

Maybe the Taliban did it because they have nurtured animosity towards Pakistan owing to their illegal nationals being expelled. After all, their business of drugs, arms, money-laundering and smuggling has been shattered in the last few months.

Butthefactisthatthere are nobenefactors ofthe recentattack otherthanthe Modi government, the Hindu fanatics, and, indeed, the Indian media. How can you blame a country for such an incident when the actual actors are still at large? Why would Kashmiri freedom fighters killpeople on the basis ofreligion, andinvite the enemy to blame them? The Hindu zealots in th emedia should ask themselves these vital questions before talking of revenge against Pakistan.
