BADIN : A couple committed suicide in Fotto Chang village near Rahuki town on Sunday due to starvation, police said.

They said that 40-year-old Kewal Kohli and his 35-yearold wife, Najoo Kohli, had been starving and were unable to rear their six, mostly minor, children.

Residents of the village told the media that the woman`s body was found hanging from the ceiling of their house with a rope.

The man`s body was also found hanging from a tree near the house.
