KHAIRPUR Mir`s has a fertile land. It produces not only grain, vegetables, fruits but also gas. Date is the main source of Khairpur Mir`s revenue, but due to lack of industrial zone, its market price is very cheap and the producerdoesnot cover his production cost.
While a local businessman who purchases dates at a lower price from the producer, sells it on a high price. Due to this situation, the producers` confidence decreases and most of the producers cut their date trees.
The government should pay attention to the date industry in Khairpur Mir`s which is beneficial to the local producer as well as to the countries export.
