KWSB & tanker mafia

2015-07-08
ALTHOUGH there is no shortage of water, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) claims that some equipment at the old water pumps has broken down owing to which less water is being pumped. The KWSB claims that spare parts needed to be ordered which will take many months.

In today`s world, it is easy for any organisation to order the right parts from anywhere in the world within days. The KWSB has failed to do this.

The fact is that the water scarcity has been created by certain political parties in Karachi to amass wealth and keep the people of Karachi in bondage.

M. Khan Peshawar (2) THE recent heatwave and lack of regular electric supply have taken more than 1,300 lives in Karachi. The impact of climate change was worsened by power outages.

I request every responsible citizen of Pakistan or elsewhere to send theirmessages to the climate change ministry of Pakistan to take practical steps and promote renewable energy technology, i.e.

solar and wind projects, so that the people not only enjoy round-the-clock electricity but are also able to fight climate change.
