MUZAFFARABAD: AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Sunday allotted portfolios to his nine-member cabinet.

According to an official notification, senior minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq has been given physical planning and housing, agriculture and livestock, Sardar Farooq Sikandar has been given revenue and rehabilitation, Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan has been given law, justice, parliamentary affairs and electricity, Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has been given information, tourism and information technology, Sardar Mir Akbar Khan forests, wildlife and fisheries, Chaudhry Mohammad Aziz communication and works, Dr Najeeb Naqi finance, planning and development and health, Noreen Arif industry has been allotted labour, mineral resources, social welfare and women development and Syed Iftikhar Ali Gillani has been given education (higher, elementary and secondary) and Muzaffarabad City Development Project.

The portfolios of the local government, rural development and power development organisation were retained by the prime minister.
