Five handed down life term

DERA GHAZI KHAN: An anti-terrorism court on Thursday handed down life term on two counts to each of the five accused for killing a youth and burning his body after desecration in the limits of Choti Zaireen police.

The judge, Sajjad Husain Sindhdar also slapped Rs2.5 million on accused Iqbal, Fateh, Riyaz, Sulaiman and Fahad for damaging government property.

On March 18, 2010, Abdullah Chandia shot dead Naseem Abbas, a cloth merchant and local office-bearer of the Tehrik-i-Jafria, in Choti Zaireen for unknown reasons.
