ISLAMABAD: Three persons were found dead in the capital here on Thursday, police said.

In the first incident, a man was shot dead in his house located near Zia Masjid. The police said the family of the victim, Faiz Ahmad, 55, had gone to a wedding, leaving him behind. Later the family tried contacting him on his mobile phone but he did not respond. They then contacted the neighbours and asl(ed them to go to their house and inquire about him. When the neighbours reached the house, they found Ahmed dead.

In the second incident, a man was found dead in a wooded area at I-10/4. The body was recovered after some passers-by spotted it and informed the police. The victim was later identified as Amanullah. The police said no marks of injuries were found on the body.

Another body was found in a wooded area near Mirchian Stop along Fatehjang Road. The police, after getting information from people, reached the spot and shifted it to the hospital. Staf f Reporter
