21 LG representatives join PTI

LAHORE: Twenty one independent union councils` chairmen, vice chairmen and councillors from Kasur have announced joining the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf during a meeting with Punjab organiser Chaudhry Sarwar.
In a meeting at PTI chairman`s secretariat on Friday, Mr Sarwar met newly elected chairmen, vice chairmen and councillors in local government elections wherein UC`s elected chairmen Rana Muhammad Shahzad, Chaudhry Muhammad Munir Zaildar,Haji Riaz Ahmad, Malik Arshad Azeem Khan, Malik Amjad Khan, Abid Jamal Dogar, Mian Muhammad Abbas, Khushi Muhammad, Babar Mahmood and their vice chairmen announced joining the PTL Party`s Kasur district organiser Nadeem Haroon and Qaiser Ayub were also present on the occasion.
Speaking to local government (LG) representatives and media, Mr Sarwar said the PTI heartily welcomed the local government representatives in the PTI.He said the PML-N was ruling in Punjab for the past three decades but all public institutions, including health and education sectors, police and other institutions, had failed to come up to the expectations of people. The rulers were trying to prove their `governance` through advertisements worth billions of rupees, he added.
Mr Sarwar said the corrupt politiclans needed to be put behind bars to end corruption and injustices form society. Staff Reporter
