THOUSANDS of people travel through Karachi-Hyderabad motorway and also pay toll tax where they get computer-generated tax receipts.
The travel time between Karachi and Hyderabad is one and half hours to two hours. But it takes about two and half hourstothree hoursbecauseofthelong wait for paying toll tax.
Either the people at the tax collection facility are not trained and don`t know how to collect toll tax and generate a computerised receipt or there is some other reason for this delay.
The authorities concerned should investigate what is the reason for this delay and ensure that receipts are quickly given to commuters so the public can get advantage of this newly-constructed motorway.
