LAHORE: The Punjab government on Wednesday formed a `task force` to give suggestions for increasing agricultural productivity and facilitating market access for agricultural commodities.

According to a handoutissuedonWednesday, Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the `Task Force on Agriculture` would devise a workable plan to increase agriculturalproduction by consulting stakeholders.

`Facilitating market access for agricultural commodities and promotion of agricultural research will be encouraged by the government,` he said and added the government would follow the recommendations of the task force to solve the problems of farmers.Staff Reporter
