KARACHI: `The first and foremost duty of my Government is to end all exploitation of one group of people by another,` declared Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan, inaugurating the first Pakistan Tripartite Labour Conference in Karachi on Tuesday [Feb 8].

He said he would not promise `a utopia in the twinkling of an eye` but he could assure labour and peasantry, `a rosy dawn and a bright morning` ... if they collaborated `sincerely` in its achievement.

The Government, he said, were striving for a `developed industry and a balanced economy as early as possible`, and several projects were already under operation. `My Government will take all necessary steps to seethatlabourgetsitsdue shareinallenterprises,` he added. Muzaffarabad is connected with Pakistan and the Kashmir Valley with good roads.
