EDITORIAL: The disclosure at the CENTO seminar in Karachi that vehicles all over the country are emitting 84 million tons of pollution matter each year will cause widespread concern among the public. Pollution from smoky vehicles is just one aspect of the problem. There are other obvious causes like pollution from industrial waste, discharges from ships, fallout from nuclear tests and leaks from nuclear reactors. The rapidity of industrial growth and urbanisation has in recent years multiplied the sources of pollution... .
