Ulema on TV

2015-04-09
MAY I request the electronic media not to invite the known hardliner ulema and muftis of various sects to their talk shows to discuss the Yemen-Saudi conflict as more often than not their views culminate in a sectarian verbiage portraying it to be a war between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

Also, while it is incumbent upon all Muslims to safeguard the integrity of Holy Ka`aba and Roza-i-Rasool (peace be upon him), they are apparently in no danger at present.

As such, their safety need not besubjected to the safety of the Saudi rulers, which is being done in the same manner as is done in Pakistan. A great hue and cry is raised to save democracy whenever a ruling government faces a serious threat from the opposition.

The Yemeni uprising is a purely political internal af fair of theirs and no other country, Muslim or non-Muslim, including Saudi Arabia, should interfere in their internal af fairs.
